From my background in music to the medium of wood, stone, glass and metal, I strive to retain my goal in creating work that is harmonious. Many of my designs incorporate various mathematical systems of proportion resulting in pieces that achieve grace and rhythm in form. By the same token, I also seek to achieve perfection in my craftsmanship. In order to build pieces that are structurally strong and stable, as well as aesthetically dynamic, I first draw upon my extensive knowledge of materials.

I carefully consider the pros and cons of various hardwood species, composite products, and exotic veneers when judging and selecting the best materials for a piece. I then apply solid-wood construction using traditional time-honored joinery techniques.

I also personally guarantee the fine craftsmanship of each commission because I perform all the work myself. As I strive to the highest professional standards of my craft, I take each piece from conception, through construction, to final completion. During the custom commission process, I also encourage my clients to be engaged in the design process in order to achieve a truly unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
